Bitdefender is an antivirus software suite developed by Romania-based software company Softwin. It was launched in November 2001, and is currently in its 15 build version. Bitdefender Antispam NeuNet, short for Neural Network is an antispam filter pre-trained by the BitDefender Antispam Lab on a series of spam messages, so that it learns to recognize new spam by perceiving its similarities with the messages it has already examined.

The best part of Avira is that it is quiet outstanding in terms of finding malware. AVG has been around in the Antivirus market from ages and gained lot of loyal users to their kitty. They also provide upgraded version which is very costly but I believe that their free Antivirus program is great for users having personal computers. AVG user interface is pretty simple and it takes a minute to install on your computer.

The brand AVG comes from Grisoft's first product, "Anti-Virus Guard", launched in 1992 in Czechoslovakia. In 1997, the first AVG licenses were sold in Germany and UK. AVG was introduced in the U.S. in 1998. The AVG Free Edition helped raise awareness of the AVG product line.
